Cabseal AB – Specialized production of gaskets, seals and insulations for the global market

Cabseal is a Swedish company founded in 1993 specializing in the production of gaskets, seals and insulations for some of the largest players in the telecom, electronics, plumbing and assembly industries worldwide. Today Cabseal delivers a comprehensive package of speed- and customer tailored solutions to over 500+ clients on 30 markets globally. Cabseal has exported their products into China for many years and their reference clients include several well-established multi-national companies.

To meet the growing market demands and client requests in Asia, Cabseal appointed Current Consulting to support them with general Sales Support in the form of researching, identifying and rating key leads and prospects on the Chinese market. In addition, Current Consulting development of a targeted sales approach, set up and administered an online CRM system, enabling close follow up and transparent information transfer towards Cabseal’s management in Sweden.

After successful completion of the first phase of the project, Current Consulting set up and executed sales meetings with the top prospects resulting in a Business Visit Program together with Cabseal’s Swedish management spanning over the entire east cost of China – Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Changzhou and Guangzhou. The meetings resulted in several new business opportunities and a first order was placed less than a week after the Business Visit Program ended.

Furthermore, thanks to the positive results from the first project, Cabseal decided to appoint Current Consulting for a Pre-study on production set up in China, as well as an additional business visit to China with the objective of identifying, evaluating and booking meetings with several providers of production facilities in the YRD area.
